Help Us Rise is an initiative by the Anthony R. Abraham Foundation, geared towards helping many of the 300,000 displaced people and small businesses in Beirut rise from the ashes of despair.
RMF Together is an initiative by the Rene Moawad Foundation, aimed at supporting the Lebanese population in times of need through raising funds from individual and corporate donors, as well as international institutions. They focus on 3 main components: socioeconomic support, COVID-19 containment, and the Beirut Emergency Relief.
Beirut needs to heal; after all, one can only imagine the aftermath of such a devastating blast. Not only has the city sustained extreme destruction across a 6-mile radius and the loss of dear life, but deals with a resulting social despair that is inconceivable. How can we as citizens of the world, as a Lebanese diaspora, as Americans assist with the healing process?
Today I continue on our mission to bring together the unity of the World and especially our Lebanese Diaspora in support of the reconstruction efforts of the over 300,000 plus Lebanese.....

AFLEG is a local association helping provide food, medical supplies, and mental healthcare to support the residents of Beirut. Join hands with the Help Us Rise initiative and be a part of AFLEG’s efforts to embrace Beirut any way we can.
Rehabilitation, infrastructure building, shelter, as well as psychosocial and medical support, are some of the needs on the ground.
