The Rene Moawad Foundation, in partnership with Project HOPE, is providing basic healthcare for the people affected by the Beirut blast. Project HOPE has secured a large quantity of essential medicines and medical supplies that can sustain around 10,000 people for the coming 3 months.
Our emergency response started immediately to alleviate damage caused by the explosion in Beirut. The second day after the blast, over 30 wholehearted RMF staff and volunteers, in collaboration with ‘Lebanon of Tomorrow’ NGO, walked the demolished streets of Gemmayze, Mar-Mikhael and Karantina in Beirut, distributing food parcels and hygiene kits.
